Coronavirus Update – 19 July 2021
We are aware that many of our clients will be feeling anxious about the relaxing of lockdown restrictions and some people will be nervous about going into shops or offices where there are alot of people. In addition, some of our staff will continue to work partially from home.
Accordingly, and to ensure the continued safety of our staff and our clients, we will continue to operate on an appointment only basis until further notice.
We are pleased to be able to offer appointments from 16th August in our large, ventilated meeting room, though all of our solicitors can offer video appointments if you prefer. As a matter of courtesy and caution we will continue to wear face masks during meetings, and would request that our visitors also wear face masks.
Our switchboard is operational, but we would ask you to be patient if you are unable to reach us straightaway and need to call again. You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact your solicitor directly:
Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
We are still taking instructions for new Wills and LPAs. New instructions can be taken in person or by video call. Please contact us to make an appointment.
We continue to administer the estates upon which we are instructed. If someone has died during the current crisis, we will be able to advise you on what steps you need to take, and discuss how we can help you with the administration of the estate.
If we are holding the Will of someone who has recently died, we will be able to retrieve that for the executors, subject to our requirements for releasing original Wills or copies of them. If you have any questions about the Will of someone who has recently died, or the administration of an estate, please telephone 0117 942 8214 or email email@example.com and one of our solicitors will call you back.
We continue to carry out all our usual services for both residential and commercial conveyancing.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
Rob Wilson and Claire Speake
We are an independent firm of solicitors with a Christian ethos. We seek to provide high quality legal services from our offices on Gloucester Road, Bishopston, Bristol which were originally opened (as Sharples & Co) in 1973.
The firm aims to provide services to our clients with honesty and integrity. Unusually, all the legal work we do for you will be carried out by legally-qualified practising lawyers rather than support staff. We are also independent, so work comes to us by referral and reputation, not by paying third parties. We seek to be friendly and approachable, and will be happy to discuss ways in which we can help you, your family or your business to achieve your objectives.
